Terms & Conditions
These terms cover repairs, upgrades, custom builds, equipment we supply and setup work carried out by Azury PC, a trading name of Azury Digital & Tech Solutions Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England & Wales (company number 13446812), registered office 23a The Precinct, London Road, Waterlooville, PO7 7DT. By booking work or accepting a quote you agree to them.
1. Quotes and approval
We diagnose first, then quote. No chargeable work is started until you have agreed the quote. If we find something else during the work that changes the price, we stop and ask before carrying on. If we tell you about a diagnostic charge before you hand a machine over, that charge applies whether or not you go ahead with the repair; if we did not mention one, there is not one.
Quotes are valid for 14 days. Part prices move, so a quote may need refreshing after that.
2. Custom builds and equipment we supply
A custom build is made to your specification. We may ask for a deposit to cover parts before ordering, and we will tell you the amount in the quote. Once parts have been ordered for a build made to your specification, cancelling may mean you are charged for parts that cannot be returned; we will always tell you what can and cannot be sent back. Timescales are estimates - suppliers and couriers are outside our control - and we will keep you informed.
Equipment we supply remains our property until it has been paid for in full.
3. Parts and warranty
New parts we fit carry the manufacturer's warranty, and we will help you claim on it if a part fails. Where we fit a part you have supplied, or a used part with your agreement, we guarantee our fitting but not the part itself.
Our workmanship is guaranteed for 30 days. If a fault we have fixed comes back within 30 days of collection, we look at it again free of charge. This does not cover new or unrelated faults, damage, liquid spills, software you have installed since, or problems caused by someone else's later work.
4. Your data
Please back up your data before you hand a machine over. Drives can fail during a repair through no fault of anyone's, and we cannot guarantee data will survive a hardware fault. If you cannot back up, tell us when you book and we will do it first (chargeable if it takes real time). We handle the data on your device as described in our Privacy Policy, and we are not liable for loss of data except where caused by our negligence.
5. Collection and uncollected equipment
We will tell you when your machine is ready. Please collect it, or arrange return, within 14 days. If equipment is left with us for more than 90 days after we have told you it is ready, and we have been unable to reach you in writing at the contact details you gave us, we may treat it as abandoned and dispose of or sell it to recover our costs, as the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977 allows. We will always write to you before doing so.
6. Payment
Payment is due on collection or delivery unless your quote says otherwise, by the methods set out on the quote. Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Business customers agree to pay within 14 days of the invoice date.
7. Where we work
Repairs, upgrades and setup work are carried out at our workshop in Denmead or at your premises within our local area. By prior arrangement you may also send a machine to us by post or courier: you are responsible for packing it properly and for the cost of sending it, and the cost of returning it is added to your invoice. On its way to us the machine is at your risk, so please use a tracked, insured service; on its way back we send it tracked and insured, and it remains at our risk until it is delivered to you. Custom builds may be shipped within the UK on the same basis, and we will help resolve any damage in transit with the courier.
8. Consumers
If you are dealing with us as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to services carried out with reasonable care and skill and to goods of satisfactory quality. Where you agree a contract with us at a distance (for example by email) and ask us to begin work straight away, your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 may be limited once work has started, and goods made to your specification are excluded from the right to cancel.
9. Liability
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of data except as set out in section 4, or for faults in equipment or software that are outside the work you asked us to do. Our total liability for any job is limited to the price of that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have jurisdiction.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date shows when. Questions? Email info@azurypc.co.uk or call 07474 951300.
